Casa Chicatana

Casa Chictana was an amazing stay! The rooms were super comfortable and had everything we needed, and waking up to those ocean views every morning was a dream. The food was fresh and delicious, making each meal a treat. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the best of the coast!

Unforgettable experience - the view is absolutely breathtaking, and the amenities are decorated with great taste. The service quality also fully matches the location. Shoutout to Pepe for his recommandations in the area, and to the chef for preparing mouthwatering mexican dishes. Would have rather kept this place secret but sharing is also caring :)

Review of Casa Pentagono: Casa Pentagono is definitively one of the most (if not THE MOST) spectacular property that we have ever stayed in (and we have traveled quite a bit). It is located within the nature on a cliff overlooking the ocean and the private beach which is shared only with a couple of guests of the other three houses of the same property. Our stay was unique as you can spend your day between the house and the private beach as the amazing staff (at an an extra charge paid prior to arrival) can provide for food (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner). Privacy and relax are guaranteed because Casa Pentagono is a hidden gem a few minutes away from Mazunte. The house is extremely new (only a couple of months) and it has all the comforts and amenities that you may ask for including A/C, a fan and some hot water. The infinity pool has a perfect temperature as it is warmed by the sun all day. There is an open bathroom with shower. If you are a design lover don’t miss out on staying in this fantastic pentagon shaped house. Alejandra, who manages the properties which are all amazing, does an exceptional job in promptly supporting any request and she was so kind and helpful with suggestions about Mazunte and the entire planning of our trip in Mexico.

First of all I’d like to commend the men that built Casa de los Pentágonos and the architect who designed a contemporary simplistic line structure on a rugged hill over a beautiful private playa. Alejandra, Charlie & the rest of the staff were fantastic! We look forward to our return & as avid travelers we have stayed in many beautiful places throughout the world but it’s a rare gem for us to want to return. Next time longer Mucho Gracias!

Casa Chicatana was a dream come true. As an avid traveler and hotel connoisseur, it can be hard to impress, but with the layout, architecture, and jaw dropping views anyone is bound to marvel at its beauty. Casa Chicatana is a true hidden hidden gem and will be forever imprinted in my memory. Outside of the sheer beauty of the place, the staff was impeccable and always anticipating our needs. They made us feel like it was our home and accommodated our activities and schedule on various parts of the grounds. I will definitely be a regular at Casa Chicatana and am so grateful for all they did to make our stay pure magic. Gracias, gracias, gracias

Casa Chicatana might be the best preserved secret of the Oaxaca coast...this intimate small hotel thought of everything, from gourmet food to very well appointed rooms, Ale and her team makes sure you will never be in need of anything at all...and the views...the views...Thank you Chicanata hasta pronto!
